Why the ENM?
- We support learning and personal development by offering study leave. Under our collective agreement, employees have 38 days of annual leave, plus health days and paid days off for family events.
- There is always a lot happening in the building that staff can also take part in: exhibitions, extensive collections, international academic conferences, performances, concerts, and unique events.
- We work with volunteers and interns. We also host international students as interns. Today’s interns may become our colleagues in the future.
- The ENM’s core values are readiness to cooperate, openness, continuity, and expertise. The museum’s development plan covers the years 2021–2025.

Internships
Come and do an internship at the Estonian National Museum!
Each year, students from a range of fields complete internships at the ENM to learn and gain experience in how a cultural institution works and in different areas of museum work.
In the context of an internship, the museum can play several roles—primarily as a mediator of knowledge, but also as a laboratory or a partner in bringing your ideas to life.
Internships at the ENM are unpaid. Please send your CV and an application specifying the internship period and field to: konkurss@erm.ee.
